1.x (January 2001 - Summer 2001)

K-Max Media used to be part of Maximum Maxwell’s: The One Stop Entertainment Place, until it practically grew into its own site. After my failed attempt at getting new artists, I refocused my efforts in my outreach to people through K-Max Media.

2.0-2.3 (Summer 2001 - Late 2001)

The first new version of the site. But of course, my first attempt made the pages too long and without enough info for users to the see the new updates. The pages were long….


Very looooong.

2.4-2.6 (Late 2001 to Summer 2002)

Being tired of that design I decided to compact it so that it fits within the screen. I stayed with this for a while. It was an improvement.

2.7-2.8 (Summer 2002 - Fall 2003)

In the latest version. I compacted the page further and designed the pages so that the browsers used the WHOLE screen no matter what resolution was used. 1024×768 or higher users rejoiced not having to scroll as much.

Version 2.9 (Fall 2003 - December 2003)

Applied the latest design to most of the pages now and also ported most of the pages to PHP so when I’m ready, I can implement and deploy all new dynamic services on K-Max Media Entertainment. This includes the video viewer, contact page and link submission page.

2.9.2 (January 2004 - Feburary 2005)

Slight Change to the layout of some of the new pages. Nothing too fancy. Switched ISP’s to a bigger server Threw out Maximum Maxwell (he made too much of a mess) and threw in K-Max (cuz he takes the K to the Max baby!).

Version 2.10.0 (Feburary 2005 - Feburary 2006)

Final revision to the design based on version 2. Started a news format for this site, but it didn’t really get off the ground. Removed with 3.0. Renamed it “kmaxmedia.com”. Just a skin change.

Version 3.0 (Feburary 2006 - October 2007)

Completely redone engines and code to conform to XHTML 1.0 Transitional. New look in logos and fonts, trimmed the lesser quality works, et al. Site now aimed more towards projects and clients than news.

Version 4.0 (October 2007 - )

Now it’s in a blog format and using the Wordpress Blogging Engine to manage content. This means it brings a more web 2.0 experience including RSS and more media related postings. The front page is revamped to show more commentary and content and we have a new slogan.
